The Gecko Contemplative Movements!

Flexibility!

Welcome to the third component of the S.A.F.E. Spine Training program! This section gives you a new way of understanding Flexibility, a crucial skill for the health of your spine, and in fact, a very important skill for the health of your brain! To help us understand Flexibility, Cookie Aloha simplified the actions we need to take in order to become more skillful in our spinal flexibility by teaching me the following four practices;

1) Slow, Gentle movements teach me how I feel!

2) Thinking is thinking about movement! (the first time I heard this, I didn;t believe her, but naturally, she turned out to be right.)

3) Complex movements are built on simple movements.

4) Daily breathing exercises will teach a lot about having a healthy, vibrant spine!

Each of these practices deserves a full chapter (or 10) for your learning pleasure, so I will be posting and organizing the material under the heading ‘Gecko contemplative Movements’. Coming Soon!

See you in the adjusting Room!

Dr. Mike
